Regional Associations & Organizations
- Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED)
The CED was created to stimulate the creation and growth of high-impact companies in the greater Research Triangle region of North Carolina.
- Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA)
MAVA facilitate private equity investing in the mid-Atlantic region and represent the collective interests of venture capitalists investing in DC, Maryland and Virginia. MAVA includes information about the venture industry and access to capital on the site.
- North Carolina Biotechnology Center
NCBC supports biotechnology research, development and commercialization across North Carolina. Among many other things, the Center assists with business plan development, marketing surveys, venture financing referrals, federal grant applications, site location and incubator space, technical problems, technology transfer and industry-university partnerships.
- North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA)
NCTA is dedicated to growing and strengthening the IT industry through increasing public awareness and influencing key public policy issues. NCEITA sponsors several annual events, which provide the opportunity to network and share information on critical technologies.
